JobJournal is a personal-use tool that aggregates publicly available academic job listings and provides AI-powered analysis to help you find relevant positions. It is not an employment agency.

2. Account Responsibilities

• You must provide a valid email address and verify it before accessing protected features.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• One account per person. Do not share your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, mirror, or redistribute data from this service.
• Attempt to access other users’ data.
• Use automated tools to create accounts or submit requests at scale.
• Upload malicious content via CV or auto-save features.

4. AI Analysis Disclaimer

Job match scores and recommendations are generated by AI (Google Gemini) and are indicative only. They do not constitute career advice. Always read the full job description and use your own judgement before applying.

5. Data Accuracy

Job listings are scraped from third-party sources (jobs.ac.uk, Find a Job). We do not guarantee their accuracy, currency, or completeness. Listings may have been updated or removed since scraping.

6. Availability

The service is provided “as is” with no uptime guarantees. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your own account at any time.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding of JobJournal are the intellectual property of Appex Labs Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
